I DON’T WANT TO SEE DEAD PEOPLE!

GUYS.

I’m not even kidding. In exactly one week I’ll be staying in a haunted house for four whole days. HAUNTED. Like for reals.

You know I love this shit. I mean, duh, I wrote about it. I’m obsessed with the paranormal and I love watching shows about ghosts or ghost hunters. But that’s on TV.

As in from AFAR.

I am not down with close and personal ghost encounters. I repeat: I am not down with it.

Fangirl and proud of it.

I must say the coolest thing about being an author is knowing other authors. First and foremost, I’m a reader and a fan of writers. And when I say I’m a fan, I mean embarrassingly so. Like, I would stand in line to meet an author before I’d go to a concert, and that claim is not even a little bit exaggerated. Authors are my rockstars.

No Rhyme Or Reason

When I was a baby blog (let’s face it, I’m still a baby blog) with a measly four or five posts under my belt, two women took notice, scooped me up, and showed me what this blogging thing was all about. They gave me confidence and sisterhood. The dynamic duo I speak of is none other than the incredible mother/daughter writing team, Inion N. Mathair.

Inion N. Mathair is Irish Gaelic for daughter and mother, and is their pseudonym. Together they’ve written two fiction novels, a short story compilation, and now a poetry book is available for purchase, No Rhyme Or Reason.

Something Witchy This Way Comes

Before you lies my very sophisticated intro to author
*Katie Cross*

OMG I love this girl like chocolate, you have no idea! I found her book blog forever ago and immediately knew I’d found my long-lost sister. Fortunately, she was tolerant of my stalker behavior, and we’ve been buds ever since.

Katie was brave  lovely enough to answer a few questions about her novel, Miss Mabel’s School For Girls. Don’t worry, the interview is silly and sweet, like Katie. And short. Not Katie, the interview. Actually I don’t know her height. This is taking a weird turn. Like Katie. She’s weird in the absolute best of ways, which is why I love her. Have I made that clear? LURVE.
